Mem

Mighty · Revealed · Hidden

"The letter Mem literally stands for water — it is the ancient picture of waves on the surface. Yahushua took that meaning and made it personal. He did not point to water or describe water — He claimed to be the source of it."

Concept — Living Water

No prophet, priest, or king in all of Scripture said what Yahushua said at Jacob's well. He identified Himself as the source of living water — water that ends thirst permanently, water that wells up into eternal life. He repeated it at the Feast of Tabernacles, standing in the Temple courts and crying out for anyone who thirsted to come to Him. No other man in Scripture ever made this claim about themselves. It belongs to Yahushua alone.

John 4:13–14 "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. The water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."
John 7:37–38 "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."
Isaiah 12:3 "Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation." — Written 700 years before His birth.
Study Note — Isaiah 12:3

The Hebrew word translated "salvation" in this verse is יְשׁוּעָה — Yahushua. The verse literally reads: "you will draw water from the wells of Yahushua." Isaiah named Him by letter 700 years before He stood in the Temple courts and declared the same thing about Himself. This is not a coincidence of translation — it is His name embedded in the prophecy, tied directly to the image of water.
