The stories being told to a generation
Hollywood: A Name That Tells the Truth
Names matter. Scripture affirms this from Genesis forward — Yahuah names things according to their nature, and the enemy has always mimicked this pattern, hiding meaning in plain sight. The word "Hollywood" is no exception. Split it open and you find exactly what it has always been: Holly Wood — the wood of the holly tree.
To the Druids — the pagan priesthood of the British Isles — holly was one of the most sacred woods of their craft. It was the favored material for the magician's wand, believed to channel power for divination, spellwork, and commanding spirits. Celtic tradition personified the plant in the Holly King, a horned deity who ruled the dark half of the year. The sharp thorns were snares for demons. The red berries were drops of sacrificial blood. Holly was, in every sense, the wood of the witch.
So when a patch of Southern California was christened "Hollywood" and a global entertainment empire rose from it — an empire that has poured out a century of content celebrating sorcery, sexual rebellion, and the mocking of Yahushua the Messiah — the name was not accidental. The wand was simply traded for a camera, the incantation for a script, the casting circle for a soundstage. But the craft is the same.
This page exists to pull back the curtain on how the holly wand of the ancient sorcerer became the most effective discipleship machine the adversary has ever built — and what believers walking in the Torah of Yahuah need to recognize, renounce, and come out of.

Disney
The ancient gods hiding inside the stories we hand to our children
Every classic Disney story has a pedigree. Walt did not invent Cinderella, Snow White, Hercules, or the Little Mermaid. He rebranded them. Behind each sanitized musical number stands a pagan worship system — most looping back to the same fertility goddess, the same sun god, and the same rebellion that began at Babel.
Pixar
What they are feeding your children
Pixar is handed to children the way candy is handed out at a parade — freely, joyfully, and without inspection. The animation is beautiful, the stories make people cry, and the merchandise fills bedrooms and lunchboxes. A breakdown of the top concerns inside each of the major Pixar films, one by one.
Fantasy Films
Beyond the obvious witchcraft — what the imagery is really teaching
Most parents who object to fantasy stop at the surface: there are wizards, there are spells. Underneath that is something harder to dismiss — sealed marks, all-seeing eyes, sacred groves, eucharistic substitutes, and bloodline kings. Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, examined for the patterns the defenders never mention.
Sci-Fi & Action
The franchises Christians defend
Sci-fi and action franchises feel modern, intelligent, even philosophical. Because they are not marketed as "magical," the spiritual content slips past parents who would refuse a Disney film for its witchcraft. Eastern mysticism, gnostic theology, and counterfeit gospel narratives — starting with Star Wars.
The Symbol Library
The same signs, in film after film, generation after generation
One symbol in one film is a curiosity. The same symbol in fifty films across one hundred years, planted in front of every child who watches a screen, is a discipleship program. A catalog of the recurring signs across modern film — all-seeing eye, lightning-bolt hero mark, sacred grove — each rooted in what Scripture already names.
