Vav
The 8 Opening Words
Each verse in this stanza opens with the letter Vav. These are the 8 words — one per verse — that form the hidden sentence.
The Hidden Sentence
When you read only the opening word of each verse, a sentence emerges from the letter Vav:
"Let Your mercies come to me — and I will answer — and not be ashamed — and I will keep — and I will walk freely — and I will speak — and I will delight — and I will lift up."
The Teaching
The window opens (Hey) and the nail (Vav) connects you to Yahuah. Every word is "and I will" — the soul is NAILED to Yahuah, and from that connection everything flows. This is the fruit: keep, walk freely, speak boldly, delight, lift up your hands.
- Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.
- So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.
- And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.
- So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.
- And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
- I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
- And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
- My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
