Shin

Consume · Fire · Destroy

"The letter Shin pictures teeth — something that consumes and destroys what is placed before it. Yahushua said He came to send fire on the earth, and He is the one who baptizes not just with water but with fire. The Shin belongs to Him."

Concept — The Baptizer With Fire

John the Baptist made a clear distinction when he spoke about the one coming after him — John baptized with water, but Yahushua would baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire. That fire fell on the day of Pentecost when tongues of flame appeared over the disciples and they were filled with the Spirit. Yahushua had promised it, purchased it through His death and resurrection, and poured it out from the right hand of the Father. He also declared plainly that He came to send fire on the earth and wished it were already burning. The Shin is His.

Luke 12:49 "I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!" — His own words.
Matthew 3:11 "He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire." — Said about Yahushua specifically by John the Baptist.
Acts 2:3–4 "There appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit." — The fulfillment of what He promised.
