― Letter 22 of 22 ―
Tav
Seal · Covenant · Complete
"The letter Tav means seal, covenant, and complete — it is the final mark, the last word. Yahushua is every one of those things: He became the New Covenant in the flesh, He sealed it with His blood, and on the cross He declared it complete with the words 'It is finished.'"
The Tav is the last letter — the seal at the end. Yahushua is the Last Adam: where the first Adam brought death into creation through disobedience, the Last Adam brought life back through perfect obedience and sacrifice. At the last supper He took the cup and declared that His blood was the seal of a New Covenant. When He said "It is finished" on the cross, He was the final letter completing the word Yahuah had been writing since Genesis.
The phrase "give you as a covenant" means the Servant Himself becomes the covenant — He is not merely the messenger of it, He is the substance of it. This is fulfilled in Yahushua and confirmed in His own words in Luke 22:20 and 1 Corinthians 11:25.
