Zayin

Sword · Weapon · To Cut

"The letter Zayin is a sword or blade — something that cuts and divides. Yahushua does not come in this age with a physical sword but with the sword of His word, and the Messianic Servant declared that Yahuah had made His very mouth into a sharp blade."

Concept — The Word That Cuts

The sword that comes out of the mouth of Yahushua is not a figure of speech — it is the living, active word of Yahuah that He embodied and spoke. No one in Scripture was ever described this way. The Messianic Servant in Isaiah said Yahuah made his mouth like a sharp sword — and in Revelation, when Yahushua appears in His fullness, a two-edged sword comes from His mouth. In the age to come He will strike the nations with it. The word He speaks is not just communication. It is a weapon.

Isaiah 49:2 "He made my mouth like a sharp sword." — The Messianic Servant speaking about Himself directly.
Revelation 1:16 "Out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength." — Specifically describing Yahushua.
Revelation 19:15 "Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations."
