Acts 17:30-31 — By That Man Whom He Hath Ordained

Paul told Athens that God will judge the world by a man He appointed and raised from the dead.

He will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Acts 17:31

In Athens, Paul said God “now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead” (Acts 17:30-31).

God judges. He judges by a man. God ordained that man, and God raised him from the dead as the proof.

Yahushua said the same: the Father “hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man” (John 5:27). The judge on that day is a man, given authority by the One who appointed him. Paul stood in a city full of gods and gave them one God, and one man.
