"The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground" (Gen 4:10). Moses promises that Yahuah "will avenge the blood of his servants" (Deut 32:43); the dying Zechariah says "Yahuah look upon it, and require it" (2 Chr 24:22); the Psalms and Prophets ask, "how long?" (Ps 79:5; Hab 1:2; Zech 1:12). In Rev 6:10 the martyrs' cry is not emotional protest; it is a legal appeal for Yahuah to act as Judge, the same cry of innocent blood that began with Abel. Heaven's command to rejoice over Babylon (Rev 18:20) answers it. The cry spans the whole age of witnesses from Abel onward, not a future seven-year tribulation.
