90Cry
tsaaq — Hebrew
tsaaq (H6817) — to cry out, to call for help; to lodge an appeal against wrong.
An appeal term — the petition of the wronged that the court is bound to hear.
The oppressed have recourse: the cry. It is not venting but filing — a legal appeal that reaches the highest bench and obligates it to respond. Yahuah binds Himself to hear the cry of the afflicted; the shed blood, the defrauded laborer, the wronged widow all cry, and the court acts. A cry is an appeal that cannot be dismissed.
Exodus 22:23 “If they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry.” The appeal the court must answer.
Genesis 4:10 “The voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me.” The cry of shed blood.
Genesis 18:20 “The cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great.” The cry of the wronged reaching the bench.
James 5:4 “The cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord.” The laborer’s appeal filed.
A cry, in Scripture, is a legal appeal — the wronged calling to a higher court. Yahuah binds Himself to hear it. It is not just emotion; it is a case filed that the court must answer.
When the powerless have nowhere else to turn, they cry out — and that cry is not lost in the air. It is an appeal lodged with the highest court, and the Judge has bound Himself to hear it. Abel’s blood, the cheated worker, the afflicted widow — each cry is a case, and the court acts.
- The oppressed (the appellant) lodges the cry against the wrong.
- Yahuah (the Judge) bound to hear the cry and act.
- The wrong (the matter) the injustice the cry brings to the bench.
Movement VI — It Is All Entered as Evidence. Word, deed, and blood — every step of the walk is deposed and filed. Nothing falls off the record.
