Torah Testimonies

Every passage modern teaching uses to argue that the Torah of Yahuah was abolished, set aside, or replaced — examined one at a time, and returned to the argument it was actually written into.

The case against the Law is not built on one verse. It is built on a long list of them, produced together, on the understanding that a list this long must settle the matter.

Each testimony here takes a single passage and walks it through carefully: the language it was written in, the dispute it was spoken into, and what the text says once the assumption is taken back out. The testimonies are short on purpose. The arguments that turn up again and again are written once, in full, in the Foundations.

A. Abolished & Nailed24

  1. Jeremiah 31:31–32
    Yahuah Himself promised a NEW covenant, so the old is gone.
  2. Ezekiel 36:26–27
    A new heart and a new spirit replace the law of stone.
  3. Luke 22:20
    The new covenant in His blood replaces the old.
  4. Romans 7:1–4
    We are dead to the Law through the body of Messiah.
  5. Romans 7:6
    We are delivered from the Law.
  6. Romans 7:7–12
    The Law produced sin and death, so it had to go.
  7. Second Corinthians 3:6
    The letter kills, the Spirit gives life, so the written Law is dead.
  8. Second Corinthians 3:7–11
    What was written and engraven in stones is done away, so the Ten Commandments are abolished.

    The veil is done away with the old covenant.

    The Law was added because of transgressions, a temporary measure.

    A change of the priesthood means a change of the Law.

    The former commandment was disannulled because it was weak and unprofitable.
  17. Hebrews 8:6–7
    A better covenant means the first was faulty.
  18. Hebrews 8:10
    Yahuah writes a new law within, replacing the old one.

    The old covenant decays and is ready to vanish away.
  20. Hebrews 9:9–10
    Carnal ordinances were imposed only until the time of reformation.

    A testament is only in force after the death of the testator, so the old one is closed.

B. Not Under Law35

  1. Acts 13:38–39
    Believers are justified from all things from which the law of Moses could not justify.

    The law is a yoke neither we nor our fathers could bear.
  3. Romans 2:12–15
    Gentiles without the law are a law unto themselves.
  4. Romans 3:20
    By the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

    Righteousness comes apart from the law.

    Justified by belief without the deeds of the law.

D. Clean & Unclean24

  1. Genesis 1:29–30
    Every herb and fruit was given for meat at creation, so food distinctions were never part of the original order.
  2. Genesis 9:3
    Noah was given every moving thing for food, so the clean and unclean categories were temporary and belonged only to Israel.
  3. Deuteronomy 14:21
    Unclean meat could be given to the stranger, so the food laws bound Israel alone.

E. Circumcision11

    The Torah-zealous believers are described as a Jewish faction only.
  4. Romans 2:25–29
    Circumcision of the heart replaces circumcision of the flesh.

    Circumcision is nothing, uncircumcision is nothing.

    Peter was rebuked for separating from Gentiles, proving Torah divides.

F. Love & Spirit15

    Two commandments replace the whole Law.

    The greatest commandment supersedes the rest.
  3. John 13:34
    A new commandment replaces the old ones.
  4. John 15:12
    This is My commandment, that ye love one another.
  5. Romans 3:27
    The law of belief replaced the law of works.

    Love is the fulfilling of the law, so love is all that remains.
