Torah's curse leaves the disobedient as "meat unto all fowls of the air" (Deut 28:26), and David promises Goliath's host to the birds (1 Sam 17:46). Zephaniah announces, "Yahuah hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests" (Zeph 1:7), and after Gog Ezekiel summons every feathered fowl "to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you" (Ezek 39:17). Revelation's great supper is that sacrificial feast with Yahuah as host, the marriage supper seen from the side of evil. Two suppers stand at the end of the book, one for the bride and one for the birds; there is no third table. Every guest is seated at one or the other.
