The priests "put my name upon the children of Israel" (Num 6:27), and the nations see that Israel is "called by the name of Yahuah" (Deut 28:10). Isaiah promises, "thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of Yahuah shall name" (Isa 62:2; 65:15); Ezekiel names the city "Yahuah is there" (Ezek 48:35). The book reads the name on the white stone as a transformed identity known fully only to Yahuah and the one who receives it. The overcomer bears Yahuah's name as covenant ownership, New Jerusalem's name, and Yahushua's new name, which points to His completed mission and is not yet revealed. The Son receives a new name; Yahuah's own name does not change.
