The seven lamps first burn on the menorah in the holy place (Exod 25:37). Isaiah names the Spirit resting on the Branch, "the spirit of Yahuah... of wisdom... of counsel and might... of knowledge" (Isa 11:2), and Zechariah's lampstand carries seven lamps beside a stone with seven eyes, "the eyes of Yahuah, which run to and fro through the whole earth" (Zech 3:9; 4:10). The book reads the seven Spirits not as seven beings nor as a third Person, but as a Hebrew completeness formula: one Spirit from the Father, fully vested in the Son. As lamps, nothing is hidden; as the Lamb's eyes, He sees completely, His discernment tested and proven from the inside.
