Israel answered every curse at Ebal with "Amen" (Deut 27:15-26), and Yahuah is "the faithful Elohim, which keepeth covenant" (Deut 7:9). Isaiah calls Him "the Elohim of truth," the Elohim of Amen (Isa 65:16), and gives "a witness to the people" (Isa 55:4). The book reads the Amen as final authority that exposes self-deception, and "Faithful and True" as a legal declaration of the witness who held to the truth. A witness and the One he testifies of are two; bearing the Father's Amen does not make the Son the Father. The same verse calls him "the beginning of the creation of Elohim" (Rev 3:14): first of the new creation, "the firstborn from the dead" (Col 1:18), not its source.
