Elisha's servant sees the mountain "full of horses and chariots of fire" (2 Kgs 6:17), and Habakkuk sees Yahuah ride "upon thine horses" (Hab 3:8). Zechariah's colored horses are patrols "whom Yahuah hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth" (Zech 1:10), and "the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth" (Zech 6:5). Revelation's horsemen are those same ordered agents of heaven, not rogue powers. The living creature's "Come!" is a court order, and the four colors carry the spiritual condition of four church ages. The futurist reading that saves them for a final seven-year tribulation ignores where Zechariah places them: already sent, already reporting.
