"In thy light shall we see light" (Ps 36:9). Isaiah promises, "The sun shall be no more thy light by day... but Yahuah shall be unto thee an everlasting light" (Isa 60:19), and Zechariah sees a day where "at evening time it shall be light" (Zech 14:7). The city needs no sun, moon or night: its light is uncreated, direct and never dimming. "The glory of Elohim did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof" (Rev 21:23), where the Greek behind the KJV's "light" is luchnos, lamp: Yahuah is the light, the Son the lamp that bears it. The nations walk in it and bring willing worship, not tribute paid under duress.
