Yahuah shows mercy "unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments" (Exod 20:6), and the manna was given to prove whether Israel would walk in His law (Exod 16:4). The Prophets narrow the covenant people to a remnant: "the remnant shall return" (Isa 10:21), deliverance is found "in the remnant whom Yahuah shall call" (Joel 2:32). Revelation 12:17 defines the remnant by what they hold and what they keep: the commandments of Yahuah and the testimony of Yahushua Messiah, bread and wine, instruction and restored relationship. Teaching that favor abolished the Law cannot read this verse, which makes keeping the commandments the defining mark of the faithful at the very end.
