The woman first appears in the promise of Genesis 3:15, "I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed." Joseph's dream of sun, moon, and eleven stars marks her as Israel (Gen 37:9-10), and Isaiah addresses Zion as a wife Yahuah calls back (Isa 54:1-6). In Revelation 12 the woman is Israel, more fully Yahuah's covenant people across both covenants, who bring forth the Messiah promised as the seed of the woman. Her heavenly sign is not astronomy; it is theology. The 2017 "Revelation 12 sign" predictions and Marian queen-of-heaven veneration both miss it. A Sukkot birth around 3 BC is possible but not relied on.
