Yahuah first breathes into Adam's nostrils "the breath of life; and man became a living soul" (Gen 2:7). Elihu confesses, "the breath of the Almighty hath given me life" (Job 33:4), and Ezekiel prophesies to the dry bones until "the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet" (Ezek 37:10). Revelation 11:11 repeats Ezekiel nearly word for word: the testimony was not destroyed, it was resting, and its reversal is as public as its suppression. The dispensational reading of Ezekiel 37 as a modern political state misses verse 14, "And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live," a revival of breath, not of borders.
