The angels tell Lot to leave, "for Yahuah will destroy this city" (Gen 19:14). Moses warns, "Depart... from the tents of these wicked men" (Num 16:26), and the Prophets turn it toward Babylon: "Go ye forth of Babylon" (Isa 48:20); "Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing" (Isa 52:11); "My people, go ye out of the midst of her" (Jer 51:45). Rev 18:4 repeats the call: "Come out of her, my people." It is a summons, not a suggestion, and not a rapture but a summons to covenant separation. It shows Yahuah's people are still inside the system when judgment comes, walking out by obedience, not lifted out beforehand.
