Abraham "bowed himself toward the ground" before his visitors (Gen 18:2), and the same shachah is given to the Hittites (Gen 23:7) and to Joseph (Gen 42:6); bowing to recognized authority does not by itself mean deity. Service is another matter: "thou shalt fear Yahuah thy Elohim, and serve him" (Deut 6:13). John falls before the angel twice (Rev 19:10; 22:8-9) and is refused: "I am thy fellowservant... worship Elohim." The Trinitarian claims that Genesis 18's visitors are three divine persons, and that proskyneo to the Lamb proves coequality, both fail: two of the three are angels (Gen 19:1), and bowing was given to men. Yahuah gives His glory to no other (Isa 42:8).
