The eyes of Yahuah "run to and fro throughout the whole earth" (2 Chr 16:9); and "I Yahuah search the heart, I try the reins" (Jer 17:10). Daniel sees the messenger at the Hiddekel whose eyes were "as lamps of fire" (Dan 10:6). The book reads the eyes like a flame of fire as searching judgment that sees past behavior to the heart. When the Son says to Thyatira, "I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts" (Rev 2:23), the Trinitarian reading takes it as proof of identity with Yahuah. Daniel's fiery-eyed messenger was "sent" (Dan 10:11), and Revelation is what "Elohim gave unto him" (Rev 1:1): the searching is the Father's, exercised by the Son.
