Yahuah clothed Adam and Eve with coats of skins after their own fig leaves failed (Gen 3:7, 21), and He specified holy garments for Aaron "for glory and for beauty" (Exod 28:2), with plain linen for Yom Kippur (Lev 16:4). Isaiah rejoices, "he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness" (Isa 61:10), and Zechariah saw Joshua's filthy garments removed (Zech 3:3-5). In Revelation 19:8 the bride is granted fine linen, clean and white: given, not earned, and the righteous acts are the result of the clothing, not the cause. Teaching that deliverance ends at entry ignores the walk; teaching that works earn it ignores the gift.
