The second plague fills Egypt with frogs, "into thine house, and into thy bedchamber" (Exod 8:3), and Pharaoh's magicians duplicate it (Exod 8:7): signs prove power, not truth. The Torah counts such swarming water creatures unclean (Lev 11:10-12) and warns that a false prophet's sign may come to pass (Deut 13:1-3). Micaiah sees "a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets" (1 Kgs 22:22). In Rev 16:13 unclean spirits like frogs come from the mouths of dragon, beast, and false prophet: words are the weapon, flooding the world with corrupt teaching and gathering it through decrees and persuasion. A literal Middle East tank battle misses that the gathering is by the mouth.
