"The eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked" (Gen 3:7). The Torah forbids priestly nakedness at the altar (Exod 20:26; 28:42-43), and Ezekiel finds Israel "naked and bare" until Yahuah spreads His skirt over her (Ezek 16:7-8). Ephraim boasts, "I am become rich" (Hos 12:8), the very words of Laodicea. Revelation 3:17 lists five escalating images, "wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked"; gymnos means exposed before the court with no covering that qualifies. To walk naked is Eden's exposure replayed, and the worst of it is not the nakedness itself but the unawareness. Prosperity teaching that reads wealth as Yahuah's approval is Laodicea's own error.
