The Psalms first call Yahuah's judgments "sweeter also than honey" (Ps 19:10; 119:103). Jeremiah says, "Thy words were found, and I did eat them" (Jer 15:16), and Ezekiel eats the roll that was "in my mouth as honey for sweetness" (Ezek 3:3), then goes "in bitterness" (Ezek 3:14). Revelation's little scroll is what was sealed now opened and handed to a prophet to consume, as in Ezekiel's commissioning. John is recommissioned, not retired: "Thou must prophesy again." The sweetness is in the receiving; the bitterness is in the bearing. Psalm 19 places that honey in "the law of Yahuah" (Ps 19:7), answering the teaching that the Law is a bitter yoke now removed.
