satan (H7854) — adversary, one who opposes or accuses; the prosecuting party.
A prosecution party — the adversary who brings and presses the charge.
In the true court the accuser’s charge is tested and, if unanswered, stands. Against the covered it does not stand: the account is paid, an Advocate pleads, and the accuser is thrown out of court. His whole standing depends on an open charge — close the account and his office collapses.
Zechariah 3:1 “Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.” The accuser positioned to prosecute the priest.
Job 1:9 “Doth Job fear Elohim for nought?” The adversary pressing his case before the court.
Revelation 12:10 “The accuser of our brethren is cast down.” The prosecutor removed from court.
1 Peter 5:8 “Your adversary the devil... seeking whom he may devour.” The accuser at work against the saints.
The accuser is the prosecutor — the one who brings charges against you before Yahuah. His power is only in an open case. When the account is paid, he is cast down.
Picture the prosecutor who never sits — day and night lodging charges against the accused. That is the accuser. But once the debt is paid and counsel pleads it, the judge clears the docket and the prosecutor is put out. He had nothing left to charge.
- The accuser (the adversary, the Prosecutor) brings and presses the charge.
- Yahuah (the Judge) hears, and casts the accuser down.
- The brethren (the accused) cleared by the paid account.
Movement VII — The Bench Convenes. The ruling is read, and each party is paid exactly what the record assigns.
